Daisy

Daisy has gone to live with a family in Guadalajara with a big yard that is fenced so she can be free and not get lost. The Garcia family has three restaurants in TX called El Chaparral. Her new loving family will treat her like the little princess she is.
Daisy the Doxy was found wandering in Apache Junction, AZ a year ago and rescued. Susan and Diane drove over 50 miles to pick her up; that was her first ride in the Mazda convertible with Sandy (Susan's dog). They ended up playing so well together that, when no one claimed her, she just became one of the herd.
Daisy did the road trip from Phoenix to Manzanillo. Then she was taken to be sterilized by Dr. Alejandro. When doing the surgery he discovered that she had a mummified puppy in her abdominal cavity, which pushed all her vital organs into cramped quarters. Dr. A's successful surgical repair gave Daisy a chance to live a normal life. Dr. A believes she was pregnant before we got her, and the pup somehow didn’t get delivered. He thinks the dead puppy had to have been in her abdominal cavity for a year or more.
Daisy is fully recovered. She doesn’t understand any Spanish and will occasionally bark (but only in English); she's housebroken and crate trained. As with any new addition to a household, she'll need a short course in her new house rules.
Daisy also swims; she jumped off the dive boat at the shipwreck thinking she was going to swim to the beach. One of our snorkelers brought her back to the boat. It was just too far for her short legs to paddle. She's the perfect low-maintenance pup, apartment/casita size, weighing in around nine pounds, and she'll eat anything, perfect for her new home with restauranteers.
