How You Can Help Animals

- Make sure your pets always have water, shade and pet food.
- Sterilize your dog or cat at SIX MONTHS of age.
- Make sure your dog or cat get rabies and distemper/parvo vaccinations every year. The City offers free rabies
vaccines during the month of March.
- Put a collar on your dog with your name and phone number on it so other people know it has an owner.
- Join ARA
- Ask your colonia delagado to address the need for an animal shelter and animal control program with the officials
of the city or contact the Director de Salud Public Municipal at 331-0756 or 332-1002, extension 252.
